Real Men probably has one of the worst story lines ever created - delivering a glass of water to aliens to save the earth. How does someone even come up with a story like that?

However, despite the fact that the story is utterly ridiculous, Real Men is one of my all time favorite 80's movies. This was one of Jim Belushi's best performances and John Ritter did an outstanding job as well. The movie is also consistently funny from start to finish. Best line - "You shouldn't smoke. I only smoke after sex Bob. At least you don't smoke that much. Yeah only a pack a day".

I have seen this movie maybe ten times and I still love it. As I said I will be the first to admit how stupid the story line is. However, this movie is the ultimate guilty pleasure.

It's not on one of my top lists at all, not even 80's comedies, but I had great fun with it and think it deserves much better than its IMDB rating of 5.8/10.

Back in the day when this movie came on tv I was always stoked.
Awesome comedy
