Er ... was there something I missed?


During the shootout towards the end of the film, a black man comes out of the forest, shooting at the villains and shouts to Belushi's character, "I'm with you, Nick," before being shot himself moments later. Both Ritter and Belushi seem to recognize this character. The one who didn't recognize him was ME! I could swear that this is the first and only time the guy appears in the film and there is no explanation for his presence. It's kind of amusing but at the same time, who the hell was he?

He is the last clown that ran away from the fight.

That was my guess but it still seems pretty unclear. I don't recall the clowns having individual names and there's no explanation as to why he's suddenly on their side.

It's a comedy movie with a tone that implies wackiness. It doesn't have to make sense.

I thought it was someone we never saw. Just someone Nick knew and he was helping him out of no where. Lol

I love this film; it's go goofy, but I think it's goofy good.
