This movie glorifies kicking ass and teaching stuff


I love how it turns a full 180, from a coming of age movie to and action flick right on the spot. it needed a drive-away-into-the-sunset type ending though

It was a good action flick. Not a very realistic portrayal of a suburban teacher taking over a ghetto school as principal, though. But it stroked the imaginations of action film fans, which is all it was intended to do. Enjoyed all the shots of Oakland, too, as I'm from N. Cal. There were even a lot of cameos with figures from Oakland's underworld, too. Leader of the Oakland Hells Angels is in the scene where Belushi busts up the drug deal.
