shareYeah, in the '60s £3.10 would have meant 3 pounds and 10 shillings. In those days, when the average wage was around £10-15 a week, on a day-to-day basis, most things would have been bought with shillings and pence.
A shilling in the mid-1960s had roughly the same buying power a pound has today.
