Its "Alien" (1979) meets "Commando" (1985) agree?

And yes its a great movie slightly better than "Commando" and a little less than the original "Alien" but still a terrific classic on its own, director John McTiernan's best work and one of Arnie's top 5 best films ever, top 4 to be exact for me.

I agree. Predator is more like Alien than even Aliens was in that we never saw the alien in full until the final act.

Funny enough, I remember when seeing Arnold and his team destroy a guerilla camp and thinking that film was like Commando. That seven-foot killer alien convinced me at 7-8 years old that it was not.
