Your first memory of this movie?

For me, I think it was hearing my older brother talking about a movie where Apollo Creed gets his arm shot off.

I think it was seeing it on video.....I can't recall, around 1988 or 89 and loving it.

My parents let me see it when I was 10 years old. It was a VHS rental. I was born in 86 so there was no way for me to see it in theaters.

I would have been about 10 also when it came out as my father got all the latest movies and I loved it from day one.

I was born in 86 and got the VHS at 10 as well. I remember seeing some of my fav movies at that age, Aliens, Road Warrior and Desperado to name a few.

I think I saw it on TV.

First saw it in 1997 when I was 10. I remember hearing about it from a few kids at school and what it looked like when it took off its mask. Then my dad hired it out one day and I watched it with him, straight away I though it was awesome and kind of creepy even though it was an Arnie movie. I remember being taken confronted by the violence and thinking it was pretty brutal especially when it rips out Billy's spine. However 21 years later it's still one of my favorite movies.

Oh, I was in high school, I saw the preview on TV promoting the film. I thought the plot looked awesome and I very much wanted to see it.

This is when Arnold was in the zone and hot and every film he did was some hit. From about 84-92 or so everything Arnold did seem to turn to gold. Stallone and Harrison Ford had big runs like that too in the 80's and early 90's.

BTW, I loved it when I saw it....even though I don't think Siskel & Ebert cared much for it.
Sometimes those two snobs didn't know how to have a good time. I think Ebert disliked Die Hard and Siskel disliked Aliens.

Predator was my first R-rated movie. I think I saw it when I was 7 or 8 (somewhere in there) at my neighbor's house. He had it on either VHS or Beta (I know his house had both) and I've always loved it since.

The invisible Predator. It was the first time we ever saw that type of digital optical effect used in a movie. Before The Abyss. Before T2. It was pretty mind blowing.
