It doesn't seem like anybody comes here like they did with IMDb, I think Movie chat needs to find themselves more exposure if this new site is going to survive. Just my opinion.

shareI've been coming here since the IMDb boards shut down. Not as quickly as I'd hoped, but this site does seem to be gaining traction. Makes sense it'd take a while, everyone was dispersed and has to regroup, and there were many other sites, all trying poorly to fill the void. Think of it like the back half of Season 4 of The Walking Dead ;)

Yeah, I get the impression that IMDb's forum traffic split to at least three or four different places and none of them have picked up the momentum that it had yet.

shareI'd be interested to see a ranking of the IMDb chat replacements by traffic. I assume this is the largest? They should all do themselves a favor and merge... perhaps also get an official indorsement from IMDb.

shareNo shit dude, IMDB owns what everyone's input to them for over decade and then they said FU to everyone. Their data base would be shit if it wasn't for THE PEOPLE. IMDB only exists because of people that added to it and then they just said, nope you all suck. IMDB is corporate now, too big too fail. Anyone saying IMDB is good knows not the truth.
