Why did the Predator kill Poncho?

He was wounded and unarmed.

Wasn't being unarmed, the reason it didn't kill Anna?

reply

The Predator was aiming at Dutch. Poncho was in the way.

but he was armed in the beginning, and he killed guerrillas in that camp, predator saw that. and he, together with his team, set up traps and tried to kill predator. thus he is a target for predator. being wounded during the battle and abandoning the weapon won't count. that would be cheating.

reply

He was armed with an MP5, and was wounded, so he was a "sympathy kill" for the Predator. He wanted him out of the way so he could focus on Dutch, who was going to be his big prize.

reply

Poncho was armed and holding the MP5 when the predator shot him in the side of head. Anna picked up his MP5 and Dutch kicked it out of her hands.

Thanks everyone for all your replies! 

Yahh that's true! i always wondered about that too. thx

Poncho was the one whose arm was shaking very visibly after Billy is killed. You can see the weapon in his hand.

I just noticed that recently. I used to think it was Dutch who was shaking out of fear (which was cool considering how badass Dutch is)

I always took it that since the Predator had already wounded him, he considered him as a bagged prize and just finished him off.

They were all soldiers. He knew that already. No point putting the guns down now.

The woman wasn't a soldier and only held a hand pistol once. She was a captive.

Dutch wasn't single out until he was the only one left.

Just kinda echoing what’s been said...

Predator wasn’t gonna let its prey live simply because it was hurt and - apparently - unarmed. Once Poncho became a target for the Predator, there was no going back.

As for Anna, she wasn’t like the rest of the soldiers, to say the least.
