Entertaining but ultimately stupid...

The first scene with the bus of kids getting killed redeemed this killer "for the cause" was pretty lame. The main villians owned a funeral home? Please!
Alan Bates chewing up the scenery like it was prime rib was hilarious.

All of this aside, I am not saying I totally disliked this movie. It was entertaining and watchable. Mickey Rourke did the best with the material that was given him.

The whole thing was ridiculous, okay to watch on a boring Sunday afternoon.

5 out of 10.

I completely agree.

i agree also: an interesting misfire.

It also has the nice stand out distinction of being the only movie where Bob Hoskins beats the man from Buffy to a pulp with a dustbin lid.

I totally agree with what the OP said. I was very, very disappointed with this film.
