Great Miniseries

I think she did a great job working in these miniseries. It took me a week end to watch it entirely. You forget she is Farrah and see the character instead. It isn´t iconic like Charlie´s Angels, but it is a great legacy. I miss Farrah.
It´s still hard to find her work on dvd. Only a few dvds have been released. Most of them without extras or subtitles. Farrah will be a gold mine for those who realise she has a legion of fans around the world.

I enjoyed a lot of things about this series, to an extent that my rating of 8/10 is one I consider a harsh one but its because of a few things that hold it back, no matter how miniscule, they're there.

I was actually surprised when I found that this was the only Barbara Hutton movie, the only dramatization of her life. With all these films that are "based on a true story" coming out that are bland and boring, a miniseries in the 1980's is the only exposure to a wide audience that Barbara Hutton has had through dramatization. Instead what do we get from Hollywood? The making of Mary Poppins. HUGE step back when it comes to the amount of emotion one can put into a performance.
