Leading men usually get cast with much younger wives in Hollywood films.
There was an article I read about about Tom Cruise and his career recently, how one thing has remained constant: all the leading ladies in his film have been always been about the same age while he got older and older.
Wow, that really is pretty crazy because she looks late 30s or early 40s to me.
It's strange how some people just naturally look older then their years.
Take Steven Martin himself: He's just kind of been perpetually older looking his whole career because of his hair.

I've often wondered why his hair turned gray/white so early in his life.
He was only 34 when The Jerk was released--probably 33 when it it was filmed--and there he is with that trademark hair even though he's barely out of his 20s.
The guy owned it though. He just rolled with it without even bothering to try to cover it up.
Gotta respect that!
