Her character reminded of those rebellious girls that liked to "do things" if you get my drift. She actually had charisma. Maybe she wasn't the classic Pippi but I can't turn away when I watch her in this movie. I am very surprised that she wasn't picked up in any other flicks when she was younger. I am even more surprised she isn't in more flicks now, wowee! What a smokin' hot red she is!

I don't get it either, Tami was very charming in 1988 as Pippi. I think she could have had a stellar career in Hollywood if she was promoted. They could have done a sequel to this movie with her and it would have done okay.

It's funny, I introduced this movie to my 5 yr old step daughter and now she can't go to bed at night without watching it every night.

If "she was promoted?" A sequel when the original bombed?? So her failure as an actress was REALLY the fault of some evil agent for not getting her the "right" roles...we have never heard that before.

I suggest watching her recent appearance on Dr. Phil. She's been making sex tapes with a recent boyfriend and getting arrested for assaulting her male roommate for "filming" her. But I am SURE it was the fault of agents, directors, etc. for not seeing her incredible talent back in 1988! Sure...

This movie was a bomb. There never would have been a sequel.
