Any1 remember the videos box used to light up/play a tune?

I have vivid memories of the box at the video rental shop in the late 80s due to the box having buttons to press which lit up and played a tune, thats all I remember lol this was in the UK.

Yes yes yes! I had this video! I also had a Count Duckula video that the box played a tune too, so cool.

YES! I had the same video box. My dad had bought it from me from London. If you press the magic jewel (Pink ruby, I think), the small lights would light up and a tune would play. It's been 20 years now and even though I can't remember the tune but I still have the video box! Ah, good childhood memories!

Yes! I remember that box too, forgot all about it until I read this.

I was about 7 I guess when I got this video, was so awesome to come in that type of box

Yep, I still have it. It did play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (I think) but the battery is long gone.
