Was anyone terrified of the Puppet transformation sequence?




I mean that utterly horrifying scene where Puppetino turns Pinocchio into a puppet, it sure as hell did to me when i was 5 seeing it in a theater in 1987 in St. Louis at a mall and it still disturbs me to this day.

Yeah, that was really scary. I think it was Puppetino's really sinister laugh that freaked me out most.

Well yes and it is a scene that goes for the jugular you know, it still haunts me to this day since i saw this movie in a theater, i even uploaded it on youtube 3 years ago.

The scene reminded me of the hooks that latch onto the Cenobites' victims from "Hellraiser" (ironically another film New World Pictures released).
