The initials 'G.G.' painted in 2 places at the house

Anybody else notice the initials G.G. painted at the Proffitt house?

When Annie first deals with the old-fashioned washer and wringer, the shed has a small roof overhang with G.G. painted on the roof.

When the boys are chasing her in the yard after the hose incident, you can see G.G. painted on the bark of the tree.

Think it was the previous (actual) house owner's name? Someone on the crew?

That is the initials of the boys club The Gruesome Ghouls. They mention it when they are chasing "Annie" outside after she soaks them with the hose in the house, because they glued her hands to the plates.

Sorry my reply is so late in coming, but that you for catching that!!!

Now I'll know, and I'll always think of you when I see it.

Yeah, but that reference has been in other Kurt Russel movies. I think in one, his wife was named GiGi. Coincidence?

reply

The mention this on the IMDb Trivia page. It was a reference to GiGi
