Ya know, there are so many posts starting with this in the subject. One has at least 6 pages!!! I swear, you could probably take EVERY line in this movie as a favorite or best or funniest!!! I just love this movie!

yeah you're right, but one line i always thought stood out was the kid being heard behind the door talking to his brothers: - "she might have no tits but she has a nice ass", goldie hawn's constant insults against kurt russel in the beginning of the movie, by the way, there are a lot of hints at their first meeting that they have the hots for each other, i guess to say they might have ended up together without him tricking her and not just sort of snatch her out of there, and her husband was a cheating trash so no problem there. i had to check this out again after seeing the remake, surprisingly this somehow feels more modern and up to date, even what's acceptable in modern dialogue this feels very spot on, regularly i wonder if things are going backwards, and with the remake in mind it feels kind of heavy and really genuine, before seeing the remake i just thought of this as an enjoyable 1980s flick, but in comparison now it feels like a freaking masterpiece, all these remakes being made now will put originals in a greater light i guess, i heard there were plans on remaking "the naked gun" and "fletch" and the 2014 remake/sequel (or what the heck it was) of "vacation" is the worst movie i've ever seen. unfortunately the dvd i got of this (mgm, region 2, released 2011) is widescreen, not remastered quality and the only bonus material is a trailer.
