Deleted/alternate scenes are pissing me off!

Last time I saw this on cable about a month ago, every scene with george carlin was cut out. After reading the forums here, I realized that I hadn't realized that the brothel scene was completly cut too!!! WTF??? The version I saw was oviously still a "rated R" version ( because of the cursing) but Jesus Christ! Why does this sheet happen to my favorite movies? Boo!!!!!!!! Boo!!!!!!! *sad face
