When did Dee Snider from Twisted Sister find time to make this movie? Wasn't 1987 their most popular time? Besides, Dee and Shelly are a VERY un-attractive couple. I guess that's where he got the $$$$ for "Strangeland".

The OP is trying to be funny. He is basically stating that he thinks Bette Midler looks like Dee Snider from 'Twisted Sister'.
