Opera was synced in a particularly close and interesting fashion with Logan's Run. Logan's Run was also synced closely with a Black Sabbath album entitled Master of Reality. I am going to discuss this specific movie-movie sync on this thread part-by-part. This sync illustrates in very obvious fashion the use of analogy in making movie syncs and the technical ideas communicted having to do with the nature of reality and the soul. This sync is seriously worthy of detailed study. This sync also reveals technical aspects of Kevin's sexual-emotional makeup. The initial start points for this sync are right at the beginnings of both films too, which makes study easy. The Raven eye image which starts Opera sets up the whole analogy emphasis of this sync, as it is an obvious analogy of the MGM lion roaring right at the beginning of Logan's Run.
