In the song "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" by Fall Out Boy, they sing the line "I'll be your number one with a bullet" in the chorus. Is that like a tribute to this movie or something?

'Tell That Mick He Just Made My List Of Things To Do Today' is from Rushmore, and there are loads more that I can't remember at this moment.
Nah. I looked it up. Number One with a Bullet is an old saying when songs would go to the top of the charts quickly.
