Wow. o____0 I was just looking through the Disney Production movies, (tiring!) and looking for another movie, but when I found this, I flipped out! I had been remembering this movie recently and I couldn't remember the title of it. The only scene I remember is when he's at this like house party, but outside. That's it. Haha. I have such bad memory...
lol I remember this movie too. I thought it was pretty cool, even for a 7 year old at the time (I'm 22!). This movie is very old, it's a shame they never show it on tv anymore.
I know there were a few sequels...The only thing I remember is how he used to have to like...hit his neck??? and then he could move at super speed! haha, that was great as a kid.
Actually, I also remember in one of the movies, not sure which one, he put some posters up with tacks that came out of his finger tips! Go Chip!

That's in the second movie. It doesn't come out from his finger tips. But he does post drawings he did which represent an android without a face. His roommate has his wall covered with bikini babes. I had it on tape and lost it a long time ago.
I use to watch this on Disney all the time back in the day along with the other sequels. I looked these up on IMDb a couple of years ago. Since then I've forgotten more about them.
Two scenes I can remember are when Chip is at that hangout and impresses people with his dancing skills I think, I remember this High School guy that wanted to fight him. Then in the third movie I think, he had super speed and gets away from these guys chasing him in a car.
The one other thing that sparked my memory a little more was Alan Thicke the dad from Growing Pains playing the dad in these movies.
Me too! My cousin gave me all three of his VHS tapes in the early 1990s when he became completely bored of the trilogy.
I remember coming home from school every single day and watching not only this but Not Quite Human II (1989) and Still Not Quite Human (1992) respectively. I had viewed them so much that the tapes themselves became completely worn to the point where it would no longer play.
What a shame, this is a film that should have had a theatrical release. Disney would have made a profit if not made for T.V. only.
Too bad Amazon only sells a VHS version of each individual movie. I actually had to obtain a copy elsewhere in order to view them on my computer due to a lack of not owning a VCR anymore.
