Ted replies:: "Italian trash, besides I only steal Porsches"

Yeah that's popular quote, although I like Ferrari's, so I don't say it much:D

A quote I like:

After Sheen attempts to steal the second red porche in the closely watched underground parking lot and gets caught by the guard/killers.

Sweeney and Sheen are being chased through the LA streets:

Sweeney: nervously "What do we do now?"

Sheen: calmly "Buckle-up."

What's your favorite non-memorable quote?

reply

Benjy: "Shopping bag?"
Ted: "Fu*k the shopping bag."
Benjy: "Fu*k the shopping bag."

I still say this and it's been at least 15 years since I first saw the movie.

"They only mock that which they don't understand."

reply

"Porsche... There is no substitute".

Bracey: Oh yeah, well let me tell you something about Martin; he got his ass shot off last night in some disco. Who do you think did that?

reply

Ted was correct then and is correct now. All Ferrari basically has done was just change, change, change, and for no apparent reason. The Italians just thought that designing a car should be a crowd pleaser. That may be OK but you can't really drive them in many places (I say this because Americans drive for a living), whereas with a Porshce you can do that and still have comparable lap times. Also, Ferrari thinks that in order for a car to go fast, the chasis must be extremely low to the ground so a speed bump can touch it. With a Porsche, you are just amazed at how it can still have the engine in the back while not sacrificing interior and trunk space, and improving lap times for 45 years. Thus, just keeping main concept design produces long-term benefits.

As Ted has mentioned, Ferraris look like Italian trash, currently.
