Definitely one of the best sequels

I've been reading a lot of people say, Dream Warriors is either a weak film, or you're starting not to like it (Not that you just never liked it, but you grew to not like it). Dream Warriors is a classic. It wasn't only well acted and creepy, Freddy wasn't overly funny, like he became in 4-6. I think it was great that it took place in a hospital. That's one of the scariest locations. It also completed one story line and carried out another. I happen to think this wasn't the only best Nightmare sequel, I think it's the best horror sequel of any movie. Also, it had amazing imagery and some of the most memorable deaths and lines in the series! (Welcome to prime time bitch!)

Exactly. It kept it open. It really was a direct sequel from the first. The second, which I do like a lot, strayed away from having to be asleep to see Freddy, which didn't work so well. This one was adventurous, scary and had great characters. It also had a dark tone. Not as dark as 1 and 2, but still dark. And this introduced the decayed dream house. Both the regular house and dream house are iconic in the series.

I think this was a fantastic sequel. One of the best of the series. There isn't a boring moment in the entire film. The characters were well written, the story was good, the special effects were good, the nightmares and death scenes themselves were creative. There wasn't any weak element in the entire film and I think the series was at the top of its game here. Not only is it good but genuinely entertaining.

It's highly overrated. It has great imagination, good new characters and some memorable kills. But killing off Nancy in such an easy and anticlimatic way has always pissed me off. It never felt right. She deserved better. Dr. Gordon was incredibly boring as a protagonist and the actual Dream Warriors concept was wasted. They never even really got to do much but look cheesy before getting killed off. Dream Master and Dream Child have stronger endings.

Go to nightmareonelmstreetfilms.com and read the Nightmare on Elm Street comic series. It gives a continuation of what happens to Nancy after Freddy kills her, Dr. Gordon is given more of a story and role.
