bought the dvd, now im annoyed

so ive been watching the price of this movie on amazon.com. it was about $60 for a while. Then i saw it pop up for $20 plus shipping so i bought it right away and its the old DVD, not the 2 disk special edition. 2 days later i go on there again and the old dvd isnt listed anymore and all you can get is the new 2 disk edition and its only $20. So now im stuck with this old dvd and not the special edition. Is it possible that the original dvd might be worth some money eventually?
