It is says that Krrish is the first super hero of Bollywood movies but I think Mr. India (Anil Kapoor) is the First Super hero of Indian Movies. DOes any one agree with me
shareMr. India is a superhero movie. Just because Anil Kapoor doesn't have powers himself, you can't say its not a superhero movie. Batman doesn't have any superpowers either. But I think there was an Indian Superman movie before Mr. India with Puneet Issar(Duryodhan and the guy that almost killed Amitabh) that came out before Mr. India. I'm not exactly sure, both movies were released in 1987. But either way, both movies were released before Krrish
shareI love Anil Kapoor's character in "Mr India"! He's almost like an 'Every-man' Superman and oh so relateable, loveable and so admirable! He makes me believe that I want and can make a difference in this world with what humble little I may have!
Please don't get me wrong or think I don't intend to be mean or offend. I think Hrithik Roshan is an exceptionally talented actor; one of the BEST dancers out there; looks like a handsome million(s) dollar supermodel stud, but his superhero in "Krrish" looks more like the 'Metro-sexual' Superman. He makes me want to lift weights/body sculpt, wax my chest, tint and style my hair, invest in good face care and wear expensive trendy black.

Shiva ka Insaaf (Jackie Shroff, Poonam Dhillon) may be the first Super-hero kinda flick. There may be some other movies here and there before this which used Superhero kind concept but I'm not aware of them.
