Beuller rip-off

Best part of the movie is the George A. Romero cameo.

What was it about the 80's that inspired a million movies about dissaffected, rich, white kids?

I was born in 1991, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask, but from what I've gathered the 1980s were full of dissaffected, rich, white people...

A movie about disaffected rich white kids? A 'Ferris Bueller' rip-off? Have you actually watched the movie? 'Morgan Stewart's Coming Home' is none of those things. And for the record 'Morgan' pre-dates 'Bueller'. The movie was completed in 1985 but released in 1987. 'Bueller' was a 1986 movie.

Ashame it was a double. He was supposed to be in it. I was a Blue Zombie in the mall scene so I brought my NOTLD poster to get signed. They broke the news to us that George couldn't be there and they had gotten a stand in/double to do the part :( For a lot of us that was the reason we were there (sure wasn't the pay)

These movies have nothing to do with eachother.

And was Bueller really a rich kid? Sure he had a computer but they seemed more middle class.

And that movie was about him staying home from school to go on adventures with his friends in the city.

Morgan Stewart is about a boy trying to bond with his parents when all they want him for is to get more votes.
