A BED?

When Mio tells Yum Yum that he is going to ride through the forest and invites him along, Yum Yum eagerly agrees and grabs the warm clothes and bread and hops on the horse...out of a bed that is just sitting in the garden? Literally a bed with a headboard and a footboard...

I love this movie and nothing can really negatively affect my emotional reaction to seeing it...but honestly its kinda terrible in a fascinating way
