I was able to come across one of the entry forms from the original contest...

1) "Preston (portrayed in the film by actor Tom Bosley) did some
sightseeing at a famous landmark after he left Washington, D.C., and
before he got to Arizona;

(2) The money, as Preston said, is hidden in
a bridge;

(3) Preston stuffed the missing million in a Glad Handle-Tie
trash bag;

(4) 'Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates ... the
air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame', E.L.;

(5) Preston was a
patriot and a ladies' man;

(6) Preston's trip from Washington, D.C.,
to Arizona covered about 2,700 miles;

(7) Once you're about 253 feet
off the ground, you'll be so close to the missing million you could
smell it; and

(8) Everyone in 'Million Dollar Mystery' is overlooking
a major clue to the exact location of the missing million."
