A bit of a nitpick, but did anyone notice the coach at the beginning of the movie was driving on the left hand side of the road? Not in the first shot, but the second shot. Very odd... at first I thought that perhaps it was overtaking, but in reality I think they simply flipped the image of the first shot to save money.
shareI never noticed that before. I'll have to take a closer look next time I watch this. And the "flipped image" sounds very plausible, I've seen that done in tones of movies, for one reason or another, and it's not like they had a huge budget for Meatballs 3.

Your right about the trick photography.
If you look really carefully at that scene when it's on the wrong side of the road, they show the 'passenger' side of the bus not the driver side of the bus.
You can tell by the heat exhaust that is located just behind the front tires, which belongs on the drivers side...it's not seen when the bus is on the wrong side of the road...If that makes any sense. Here's a clip to make it more clear.
