Why no DVD?

First of all, 1, 2, and even 4...."4"!!!! ARE ON DVD!!!

Why not 3?

Same goes for Ghoulies 3.

Meatballs 2 was the purest pile of utter garbage I have ever laid eyes on.
And it's on DVD.

Meatballs 4 DIDN'T EVEN EXIST!!!! and it's on DVD.

WHY NOT 3?

I DEMAND ANSWERS!

By the way it's Meatballs 3: "Rudy's Big Change",
NOT Meatballs 3: "Summer Job" (I have never of heard that)

reply

Meatballs II is not on DVD dude. Maybe when the Meatballs remake comes out they will release II and III on DVD.

My guess is that the rights are floating around outer space somewhere, unknown and not locatable. MovieStore Entertainment ceased operation many years ago, so the negatives were probably trashed. Though I want to say Comedy Central (or some channel) airs this once in a while.

An unautorized bootleg isn't a release... Just a *beep* port of a VHS tape.

monol22 it's name has never been Meatballs III: Rudy's Big Change. The VHS does have the tagline "Rudy's Big CHALLENGE", but thast's not what you said and besides it's just a tagline, not a subtitle.

You bring the vajiner, I'll bring the peenace

"Meatballs 3" (with the "Summer Job" subtitle) IS available as a DVD-r from Amazon.com. Here's the link:

Cheers!

I hate to be the one to say it, but unfortunately, that DVD-R is actually a bootleg from an outfit called Up All Nite Films, or it's an unauthorized release at the very least. This whole DVD-R thing, legitimate or otherwise, is pretty common on Amazon. The real rights holder to this film is MGM.

Though this post is fromsever years ago....might just need to catch it on TBS and tape that bastard. Ha. I always saw it on that station. They'd typically air it at like 2pm on A Saturday or Sunday. That was of course in the mid nineties.....

They should also release the remastered love song at the end credits of it!
