Definitley deserves a higher rating. It's so charming and funny and such quintessentially 80s fun fare. Also whether the detractors like it or not it has become somewhat of a classic 80s film.

Defintely deserves MUCH higher a rating! It's such a gloriously-80s, fun, charming and enjoyable film. It was a massive hit and is hugely popular... so come on "Mannequin" fans - let's get that IMDB rating up where it deserves to be!!

Saw it for the first time last night. Seemed more like a music video than a movie. Cute in a couple parts but not really funny at all. I give it a 4. My wife liked it more than I did.
