Yet another great movie MIA on DVD!

I'm sure y'all know the drill by now, right? A truly great movie gets hung up in limbo because of song writing rights or some such disagreement. Maybe it's just one song, maybe its the entire soundtrack, who knows for sure. Either way time marches on DVD's are slowly being pushed to the back aisles by more pricey Blu-ray DVD's (Best Buy), yet your personal favorite has yet to even make its 1st bow on to DVD. Now its been a while , okay maybe too damn long, but I can't remember any memorable songs or music in this movie. Yes there was the regular suspense filled music that you would expect to find in an action-thriller movie of this type but no specific one hit song comes to mind here. So with that being said, what other reason(s) could there be to not release this movie "Malone" on DVD? I for one am getting so very tired of the excuses and the reasoning behind movie studio thinking. So instead of releasing these forgotten gems they spend lots of time & money re-releaseing movies they do own the rights for again and again. Some movies are already on their 4th incarnation in terms of aspect ratio's & other film enhancements. Yet so many movies such as Malone haven't even made it out of the starting gate. At this point I'd be happy with a widescreen presentation of the movie. No need for interviews & remembrances from cast members, deleted scenes, movie trailers, etc. Just give us the damn movie "now". If I knew who to complain to I would but honestly the people in charge of such things really don't care about our predicament.
So as much as it pains be to do so I am going to actively seek getting a DVD copy (region#1) of this and other movies by any all illegitimate means available to me. Oh and if you don't like it, then release the movies I want now and quit pointing the finger at me. After all you are the ones forcing my hand here. Who's with me on tis? Anybody?

I have it on good authority if you are in the USA there is a beautiful widescreen print of this on Netflix streaming.

For some reason MGM hasn't released alot of films out on dvd that should be out.The Last Of The Finest was another one from Orion Pictures that they never put out.Avenging Force was another one.Malone should be out on dvd.I had a brand new copy of it on vhs and I just transferred it over to a dvd-r.I guess that's better than nothing.
