I thought this was a great feel good flick

I love this movie for quite a few reasons. Ally, Tom Skerritt and Beverly D'Angelo. I thought they turned in good performances. I mean this isn't an oscar worthy movie but then again most movies aren't but I thought the message of this film was a good one. Not to mention I love any movie that has anything to do with singing in it and the song in the movie I thought was great. :) So If Ally or anyone connected with this movie reads any of the boards I just wanted to say JOB WELL DONE!

I love this movie too! I'm 20, but I saw it when I was 4 or 5 for the first time, my mom recorded it on a tape when it comes on TV, but sadly I didn't see this movie since more than 10 years. I made this special discovery tonight and it put me back in time!

Agreed.

I remember watching this as a child over and over and over again. I wish I could get my hands on the DVD...I wish it was on DVD!

Somewhat of a sleeper, I kind of liked it at first, then it grew on me. One of my favorites now.

I love this movie and always will!

Screw watching Transformers 392048329043849038493 or Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie, or the recently watched "Paul"....movies today can't compare to ones made long ago!

I am disappointed that this movie has not ranked a higher score on IMDB...so what if it doesn't have a barely legal bleach blonde hair slut as the lead star....so what if it didn't have an all-star cast (Ally Sheedy was "A" list material in the 80s)...and so what if you think it's a chick-flick...it's still up there in my favorite movies (it's also one of the first DVD's I ever bought (but I've seen the movie many times before).

The music was great and the acting was very good...

Just my two cents...

The great Nathan demands you to bow down to him!
