First caught it on sunday matinee movies on tv and loved rediscovering it. Even have been by Jessie's house in Hancock Park. Easy watching with a good story that leaves you with a warm feeling. Wish they still made movies like these.

shareIt's one of my favorite movies from the 80s. I'm glad to see other people like it, too. Definitely a feel good movie, and since I have the DVD, I watch about once a year.
