the comics explain that David didn't die. and Max wasn't Davids creator

Max was indeed the head vampire in the town but he didn't sire David. he sired the widow johnson who in turn sired David who in turn sired Dwayne, paul and marko..

also like i said David didn't die. as his heart was missed

in the comics the widow johnson actually sires the grandpa and he stays a half vampire by consuming animal blood instead of human blood

they kind of imply that Michael and Star are alive because it says that Sam was shunned by the emersons family

Exactly. Expanded universe stuff has absolutely no bearing on the source material.

A Superman without trunks isn't worth watching or reading about.
