Avoid the Optimum DVD

Just bought the new Optimum DVD (a UK Region 2 release), but it is a very poor quality transfer - it doesn't look any better than an average VHS copy. Also the framing is completely off. The film's OAR is 1.75 and the DVD replicates that; however, the image has been grossly zoomed in so that, in numerous shots, people are half out of frame and also have the tops of their heads cut off.

I haven't seen such a badly butchered transfer in quite a while. Avoid this DVD at all costs!

I just wish somebody would release it the way it's meant to be seen.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!
