Does anyone know if they've ever released Brosnan's screen test? I've sen still but no video. Also is it true they took actual promotional pictures of his as bond before they had to recast?

Ive never seen it.. i seen sam neils and i was not impressed. And james brolin ...again was not impressed i wished dalton started with octopussy til licence . Would have been good he deserverd more bonds...

When i see the screen test pics of brosnan he looks a little to young a bit green

The problem with him starting with Octopussy was that Connery was doing Never Say Never Again the same time, so the producers wanted Roger Moore to comeback because they thought it would be best to have him face Connery at the Box office of 1983.

Same here. I have seen one photo of Brosnan's screen test but not the video.

Also is it true they took actual promotional pictures of his as bond before they had to recast?

I have not seen any promotional photos of Brosnan as James Bond during that time period. However, I have seen two photos of him after his audition when the production team thought that Brosnan as the successor to Roger Moore was a done deal. There is a picture of him with Bond producer Cubby Broccoli in front of the Pinewood studios and another picture of him with director John Glen standing in front of Living Daylights storyboard sheets.

One last piece of information. In the 2012 James Bond documentary "Everything or Nothing" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2366308/reference Brosnan himself states that he did take promotional pictures as James Bond.
