Yo dawg, heard you hate war... aka the ending? (spoiler)

... so you took all them street kidz to war, so you can all not go to war. So... what the hell you gonna do with all them kidz?

In other words... What is up with this storyline. Motivations of every single character, especially Stolz are so weak they barely exist. He's gonna take them to war? To do what? Fight trained grown men in a horrible climate? And then he's not taking them to war? OK, so what the hell's he gonna do with them now? Found a Children of the Korn village, make his disciples back at home adopt them all?
