Byrne is the worst slavetrader ever (spoilers)

During this whole movie, he manages to lose trail of the kids, lose several of his men, kill a couple of his expensive "wares" and finally get killed by a lucky kid. Every time he could capture the kids, he either failed miserably or simply decided to "wait so they lose their faith like he did" first...
He is a terrible villain in this. That Turk guy was more intimidating.
