I think I heard the story of why the word okay in this movie, but I dont remember

CAn someone help me out and tell me the origins of ok?

Martin van Buren is from Old Kinderhook, New York, and he issued campaign material where Old Kinderhook was shortened to OK,
so Martin van Buren is OK.

Actually, he was from Kinderhook, NY, and he himself was nicknamed "Old Kinderhook". But that is one of several possible etymologies for "O.K.".
