The Intelligence operation

Years ago I thought that the Intelligence operation planned and organised by Major Richard Meinertzhagen (Anthony Andrews), a disinformation strategy trying to make the Turks and the Germans believe that the main attack was against a different objective, using an imaginary British officer whose papers (including a letter from his "wife") were captured by a Turkish patrol, had been only Ian Jones's imagination. But I later discovered that there were real Intelligence operations there.
