Did Murtahgs wife know that He was Gay with Riggs?

The movie strongly implies that Riggs and Murtaugh were entangled in a full-on gay relationship by the end of the film. Roger’s wife seems really understanding, but I think it’s a plot hole to accept that she would be fine with him and Riggs being gay with each other.
