the music cues

The way the music cues were applied was very effective. It is a different type of "scoring" and an approach I champion
and use. Methany's sound seemed perfect for the subject matter. It may have been the director's choice or music editor's decision of how and when to fly in and mix the various soundscapes. It was consistent with the tone of the work-a memory work. Kudos for Methany for his wonderful musical comments.
