Does anyone know if a region 1 dvd exists of this film? Or if a year old ibook g4 with a DVD drive can play region 2 discs?

A region 1 DVD is coming out this month. Highly recommended! The film, that is. I haven't seen this transfer. I personally am going to buy the Regoin 2 since it has more features on it

the only jarman films released on regular dvds are his first 3 feature films: sebastian, jubilee, and the tempest.

Depends on what country. Edward II is now out in the US.

The Region 1 (US) DVD is out and my partner and I rented it this weekend. Alas, we found it to be pretentious and incomprehensible. See Edward II or Caravaggio instead.
