Did he come back from his drug run in Mexico and then after acting all brotherly sneak off and have sex with Ritchie's girlfriend? Then relocate with the family to a city in California using his drug money from his drug run and live in a trailer on the property he bought his family with the girlfriend he stole who he then impregnated?
shareI believe they played it up a lot and the family were ok with it as they thought it would make the film better. I watched La Bamba again last night I kind of get annoyed with the brother sub plot. I wasn't interested in him at all and think they could have spent more time on Richie.
If he really did bed his brothers girl than I would say Richie got off lucky. She couldn't have been very loyal and going by the film she regretted her decision especially when he became famous.
That part was 100% fiction. There was never any love triangle between Ritchie, Bob, and Rosie
