Serious lack of film knowledge by the detractors!

If in all seriousness, if you think this is one of the worst films you've seen, people really need to watch more movies. I can't believe I've been defending this film since the 80's, wow doesn't time fly.

Also just for clarification, Richard Jeni's stand up routine about Jaws the Revenge is hilarious and one thing about Jaws the Revenge that is stupid, what happened to the Shark in part 3...yeah he blew up.

It isn't that bad. I was surprised to see it had a 2.8 rating. Ratings that low should be reserved for movies that have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. While this wasn't the best movie ever made I still think it's entertaining so I don't see why so many people seem to think this is the worst movie ever made. Sure, none of the sequels were necessary but that doesn't mean they're bad.
