Michael Moriarty

Wow, blown away by his performance in the court room in the beginning. I don't know how Larry Cohen, with the budget of these flicks, manages to cast good actors in the dad roles of all three of the Alive films, and direct in such a serious tone, even though he's making very B movies. Crazy good. Moriarty's performance for the rest of the film tends to be pretty odd, though. I can't decide if it was good or just plain weird, but that courtroom scene was great.

This ain't my first tea party...

Totally agree with you. I got teary eyed as he was talking. Hope you don't mind a little story here:

I had never seen the babies and was shaking so bad because I was afraid. I was born with Spina Bifida and later developed Hydrocephalous, which can make the head swell which mine did slightly before a shunt was put in. So to try to get me to look at the baby, mom said that it had a big head like I did and it had beautiful blue eyes. Well, I looked, and felt like crying and was so sad for it. I was still scared and didn't look at the violent scenes, but when this movie is on, I do try to catch the courtroom scenes.

If this movie would have toned down the violence, it would have been a great, tearful movie.
