Anyone else thinks Jarvis was really annoying?
He irritated me throughout the entire film. He behaved so dumb and acted like a zombie, he kinda ruined the movie for me.

He was terrible in this. I know the character was supposed to be detached or whatever... but he was just plain rotten. The movie would have been much better if they had gotten someone competent for the part.

I wanted him to die horribly. One of the most unlikable characters ever in a movie, although he reminds me a lot of some, too many, people I've met - on the one hand they act self righteous and as if they are some sort of moral and intellectual authority, then they'll pick on someone for no reason, as he did to the doctor.

shareI agree. I did not mind some of his "over the top" and exaggerated acting in some spots, but he just came across as self-pitying, dumb and crude. I honestly don't understand Larry Cohen liking his efforts in this film. His hamminess really took away from the serious issues the film tried to explore.
