I mean what does the actually translation of the word Ishtar? What does it mean in English?

Ishtar is the name of the ancient semitic goddess of fertility and love, kind of equivalnet to Aphrodite in Greek mythology.

not semitic. The name Ishtar is of akkadian origin (babylonic) and was the goddess of love/sex and war. She is an evolution of the much older Sumerian goddess Inanna. Astronomically, Ishtar is equivalent to the planet Venus, but depending on the time and culture, her symbol could be Venus or the star Sirius.
her semitic counterpart was Ashtoreth.

correction: Akkadian and its offshoots Babylonian and Assyrian were Semitic languages.
