I hope to see a remake of this entertaining movie.
I miss Martin Short, he can be the prof in the lab :)

Classics shouldn't be remade. Besides, this is already a remake of Fantastic Voyage.

No, but they can feel free to re-release it on the big screen - I'd pay to go watch it.

Martin Short's performance could not be equaled, let alone surpassed, by anyone today. The effects in the original are better than anything that could be done now with CGI. "Innerspace" is not a remake of "Fantastic Voyage".
